As a former collegiate athlete that dealt with several injuries (3 surgeries in 3 years) I was struggling to take care of myself post-grad, physically and mentally. I was lucky to discover hot yoga through work (shout-out to JW!) during one of our Wellness Workout events. I had no idea what to expect, but man, did it kick my ass! It was unlike any workout I’d done before. The attention they paid to mind body and soul, the genuine support and encouragement, the mindfulness, and the amazing community all made such a difference. A couple of classes later, I was hooked, and now they can’t get rid of me!
