I hated every single moment of my first yoga class. Granted, it was not at Yonder, but I just assumed all yoga classes were the same and that they were not for me. I wanted high energy, sweaty, cardio, fat-burning workouts. Fast forward to 2019 when my daughter convinced me to try a class at Yonder. Next thing I knew, I was doing the October challenge, and my competitive spirit kicked in. I was hooked! Not only did I leave feeling challenged and drenched in sweat, but the Yonder community was just what I had been in search of at this stage of my life. I found friends of all ages and from all walks of life with the common bond being a love for yoga.
I will forever be grateful for my YTT experience that led me to this new adventure. I love how each and every time I step onto my mat I am challenged, both physically and mentally. I am hopeful that in each of my classes, you too will find something you love about yoga that keeps you coming back for more. See you on the mat!
