I first found yoga by complete luck when the first fitness studio to open in my small North Carolina hometown happened to be a yoga studio. I figured I would go check it out, and from the very first class, I was hooked.

I had a similar stroke of luck finding Yonder – when I first moved to Atlanta, I needed a new studio, so I googled “yoga near me.” Yonder was the first to pop up, so I signed up to try a class the next morning, and I never stopped coming. Yoga is my stability – through moving away to college, and moving again after graduating, my yoga practice is the one constant in my life.

My favorite part of yoga is the fact that there is no “perfect” in yoga. I am a chronic perfectionist, and yoga is something that I have finally been able to accept as a true practice. Each day, I get to show up on my mat and do exactly what my body wants to do, without fear of failure. I hope that you come to discover what you love about yoga for yourself. I look forward to seeing you in class soon!
