I found yoga through a friend – she had just finished her yoga teacher training at Yonder and was teaching her first community class. I’d always been afraid of the “hot” part of hot yoga, but all it took was one of her classes, and I was hooked! The heat, the movement, and most importantly the Yonder community kept me coming back. A little over a year and hundreds of sweat towels later, and I completed my own teacher training journey.
As a teacher, I hope to provide students with whatever they are looking for, whether that’s a peaceful escape from stress, an energizing workout, or just a space to disconnect for a little bit while having fun! In my class, you can expect a thoroughly curated playlist – don’t be surprised if alt-J or Megan Thee Stallion make an appearance – paired with creative and challenging flows. When I’m not at the studio, I’m probably binge watching Bachelor in Paradise (BIP > The Bachelor/ette), trying to get my dog to pay attention to me (she’s basically grumpy cat in dog form), or making dinner reservations for 5:30pm (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it – beats the dinner rush and gets you in bed by 9!).
