I moved to Atlanta in July of 2022 and for my first ten months here I struggled to find a community. A friend brought me to a Yonder class in May of 2023 and I never looked back; yoga became a major part of my life. As a former collegiate athlete, yoga was the first form of movement that felt good to me – mind, body and soul. The attentiveness of the teachers, the supportive atmosphere, and the physical and mindful practices were incredible. I practice to move my body, purposefully connect with my breath, ease my anxiety, and open my mind. I strive to develop classes that allow students to feel like they’re at home in their bodies. I want everyone, no matter their experience, to discover what they need on their mat that day. When I’m not at the studio, you can find me reading at coffee shops around Atlanta, walking the Beltline with my dog, Gus, or spending time outside with friends.
