I first started yoga after experiencing a plateau in my power-lifting due to flexibility issues. I came to my first yoga class at Yonder having no idea that it was heated or what it would be like at all. But, within a month I was practicing yoga more than I was powerlifting and have been here ever since. For me, yoga is fulfilling both mentally and physically and has proved to be crucial in regulating my nervous system and staying healthy.

Professionally, I worked as a helicopter pilot in a few different roles for many years. I now run a non-profit and work full time in the mental-health space supporting people through crisis and substance abuse troubles. Yoga has played such a crucial role in my own mental-health journey, so it feels like such a blessing to be able to help provide that space for others as a teacher.
