My first experience at Yonder happened in high school when two friends invited me to join them. Unfortunately, I somehow forgot to put in my contacts before arriving since it was an early morning class. For the first 30 minutes, I was very confused, specifically because I couldn’t see. For the second half of class, I started to get the flow of it and something clicked. At the end of class, I left feeling more grounded, energized, and ready to take on the day. I was hooked!

Not long after, I returned, this time with my contacts in, and quickly fell in love with both the practice and the community. The rest is history! Four years later, my parents encouraged me to sign up for teacher training at Yonder, reminding me how much this place had come to mean to me. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Through transitions between schools, different seasons of life, and countless changes along the way, Yonder has remained a constant source of stability and connection. One of my favorite things about yoga is that there is always room to grow. No matter how long you’ve been practicing, there’s always a new challenge, a deeper understanding, or another opportunity to learn about yourself.

In my classes, I aim to create that same sense of community and belonging that first drew me in. You can expect fun upbeat music, intentional movement, and an environment where everyone feels welcome. My goal is for each class to feel like a celebration! I hope my class is an opportunity for you to move, connect, and maybe even meet some of your future best friends along the way
