I first began my yoga journey at the age of twelve years old as cross-training for my life-long journey of becoming a professional ballet dancer. To be very honest, it was more of a hate-hate relationship – there is only so much a twelve-year-old can love at that age. Fast forward to college in Pittsburgh, I rekindled my passion for yoga. I made the journey back to my mat with the intention to not only workout my body but connect back to my mind. It also helped that I was going into a studio heated to 98 when it was -4 degrees outside!

I grew up in a gym with my mother who was an aerobics instructor, going to SportsLife with her every Saturday growing up like it was my church, so you could say that I was raised on health and wellness. This has lead me to get my certification in many other formats including Pilates Mat and Reformer, Lagree method pilates, and Yoga Sculpt in addition to my 200Hr RYT. When I am not in the studio, I love going for hikes or doing something extreme like white water rafting or skydiving!
