Teacher
I dabbled with yoga classes off and on in my early 20’s, but it wasn’t until I was in grad school that I developed a consistent practice. At the time, I was wrestling with significant burnout, anxiety, and general existential dread that was negatively impacting all aspects of my life. I came to yoga as part of a multimodal approach to combat these feelings, and it very quickly felt like yoga was exactly what I’d needed all along. My practice has taught me how to find the inner sense of calm – the inner witness – that is always within us, even and especially when we’re facing challenges. Of all the benefits of yoga, the way it has changed my mind is by far my favorite.
As a yoga teacher, I hope that you leave class with me feeling centered, empowered, and more compassionate toward both yourself and others. I am honored to be part of the Yonder teaching team, and I’m looking forward to practicing together!
