I was first introduced to yoga nearly 20 years ago after the birth of my youngest son. My favorite class at the local Y was canceled, and yoga was its replacement. Oh well, I reluctantly thought, let’s give it a try. I immediately fell in love with the practice and have been practicing off and on for nearly two decades. One of the things I cherish most about yoga is that your practice continually evolves: you never arrive, never finish, never master. There is always more to learn, more to practice, and more to understand.

The term “yoga” encompasses so much. Perhaps you start with a largely physical practice, and then delve into some philosophy, or some meditation. My husband likes to tease that I believe yoga can fix anything. I’m not sure I would go quite that far, but I DO believe that yoga has made my life both more joyous and more peaceful, and that is what I hope to share with you.
