My yoga journey began after high school when I was looking for ways to stay active after playing sports, but the consistency just wasn’t quite there. During the pandemic, as gyms closed and the world fell into chaos, yoga became my companion and was a constant grounding force that kept me centered. However, my practice took on a deeper meaning when dealing with a prolonged foot injury, and yoga was the only form of movement my body could handle. Through consistent practice, yoga helped me regain a sense of peace and movement during a challenging time. What continues to inspire me is the constant evolution of the practice – there’s always something new to learn, explore, and grow into. As a teacher, my goal is to create a fun, supportive, and safe environment where everyone can move at their own pace and feel empowered. I believe in a space free from judgment where no one takes themselves too seriously, and every student can embrace the journey of their own practice.
