Yoga has been a part of my physical practice for decades, but I truly experienced the benefits once I could release the expectations I had placed on my body through years of rigorous ballet training. I love the way that yoga differs from ballet allowing me to explore movement that works for each individual body instead of forcing individual bodies into a one specific mold. I believe yoga is for everyone so please come as you are! I hope to create a class that helps to center you and bring clarity to this ancient practice through breath, curiosity and some lighthearted humor. I love a class that helps you understand the way that your own body moves and hope you find both a positive challenge and calming balance in my classes that you can return to throughout your day.
