I took my first power yoga class over 10 years ago and never looked back. After a decade of tumbling and years of high-impact workouts, along with two knee surgeries, I found yoga and everything shifted. It became a space where I could feel strong and powerful, challenged and grounded all at once, and one of the only places where I can truly quiet my mind and fully step into my body. When I moved from Houston to Charlotte, I left a yoga studio I loved and spent time finding my way back to a consistent home on my mat. Finding Yonder felt like that missing piece again here in North Carolina, like my new “om” home.

What I love most about yoga is its playfulness and honesty. Every time you step on your mat, you show up differently, and the practice invites you to listen, adjust, and meet yourself exactly where you are. Some days that looks like ease, some days challenge, and most days a mix of both. It also gives us permission to wobble, fall, and try again, because that is where the real learning happens. I am so excited to share this practice with you. My hope is that you leave class feeling renewed, confident, and a little more connected to yourself.
