Yonder offers weekly prenatal yoga classes to support expecting and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum. This class is the perfect opportunity for expecting and new moms to learn not only how to safely practice yoga during pregnancy and afterwards. New moms will learn how to use yoga and meditation to ease common pregnancy discomforts, prepare for an easier labor, and help speed up postpartum recovery.
As a registered prenatal yoga teacher and doula, lead Prenatal Teacher Sarah is thrilled to share some of her favorite yoga tips and tricks for a happier, healthier pregnancy and postpartum. You will flow through a mini prenatal power flow, learn what poses to avoid/modify during a traditional yoga class, and end with a calming meditation for some ever-important stress relief. Please note that the studio heat is reduced to the low 80s to create a warm but safe environment for movement.
