I have practiced yoga since I was about nineteen years old, delving into it more seriously as time went on until it became something integral to maintaining my overall health. I am a fanatical cat lover, an artist who makes stuff for video and board games, and I can eat my weight in Middle Eastern food (there is no limit here). I chose to become a teacher because yoga drastically improved my mental health, and I want to share what I continue to practice and learn every day to my students.
“Yoga is an excavation tool to get to know who you are, and through that, it is an act of honor and much needed respect to yourself.”
Yoga is an excavation tool to get to know who you are, and through that, it is an act of honor and much needed respect to yourself. Some of the skills and tools that I hope to teach you are how to listen to and be in your body better, to respect what it needs more, to get out of your head so you can quiet the noise that causes unwanted stress and anxiety, and to appreciate and respect yourself as you are right now.
