Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I was an incredibly active child, and I found my love for movement and rhythm through dance and cheer and spent a combined 14 years participating in the two. In high school, I picked up competitive distance running as well.
While I took a few yoga classes here and there in high school, I really found a love for my practice in college at a small “pay as you can” studio in Athens, GA. At the time, I used my practice as a way to cross-train for running, but a series of injuries led me to practice yoga on a more frequent basis post graduation. After moving to Atlanta, I took my first vinyasa class and the rest became history – I was hooked!
I’ve practiced vinyasa in the Atlanta yoga community since 2016 and have had the absolute pleasure of visiting many studios and meeting so many awesome people along the way. I landed at Yonder and never looked back, completing my 200hr YTT in Spring 2021.
My practice has totally changed the game for me both mentally and physically, and I hope that I can help share that love with others in my classes. I strive to meet my students where they’re at and make yoga accessible for all. My hope is that students leave my class feeling challenged (whatever that may mean to them!) and mentally refreshed. See you on your mat!
