Teacher & Manager

Just over one year ago, yoga found me while I was on a mission trip in Costa Rica. Prior to this experience, I had no idea the power a yoga practice had. I had the mentality that if I wasn’t wrecking my body in the process, my workout didn’t mean anything. As a Chiropractic student, I learned quickly that I needed to take care of myself because, after all, in order to serve my patients to the best of my ability, I need to take care of my body as well. So, I went on a journey to find an alternative way to work out, and I found Yonder. Once I started practicing regularly, my life was changed; my previous injuries got better, and I felt even more in touch with my spirit-mind-body connection. Now I find myself craving that feeling I get when I show up to my mat. Going to yoga became the best of both worlds for me; I get a sick workout, but I also get the opportunity to let go of whatever is weighing heavy on my mind.

After practicing for only a few months, I decided to take the leap and complete teacher training. I was inspired by the idea of offering a yoga practice to my future chiropractic patients. I think it is so important to look at health as a whole, and yoga encompasses both the mind and body aspect.

My goal is to create a space that offers the opportunity for my students to have the same feeling as I do when rolling out their mat. I strive to create energetic and dynamic flows that are accessible at any level. With my knowledge of human anatomy and my love for yoga, I am inspired to construct mindful sequences that will challenge you and alternatively make you stronger. I look forward to sharing my practice with you!
