I first started practicing yoga shortly after high school. I always struggled with anxiety and the occasional panic attack, which lead to multiple people recommend I give yoga a try for the mental health benefits.. I did, and quickly fell in love. I learned breath work to control my mental state in times of need, while playing around with inversions and free flowing my body on the mat became a sort of meditation for me, only allowing myself to focusing on the present moment. Over the years, yoga has been my constant, changing the way I view and live life. In 2020 I received my 200hr YTT wanting to deepen my own spiritual practice. My journey so far has brought me right here, with the purest intentions to bring yoga into to other people’s lives and show that yes, yoga is a workout but it’s also so much more. It’s home.
Outside of the studio, you can catch me boppin’ around Plaza, trying all the local coffee shops, playing soccer with my friends, or most of the time on my couch at home with a good book or binge worthy show.
I can’t wait to meet you on your mat!
