Rachel Abraham

Teacher

I was introduced to yoga as a first-year college student and practiced on and off for many years.  It was not until 2017 that I developed a regular practice.  At the time, I was suffering from burnout, chronic pain, and crippling anxiety.  I left my corporate job, set off on a week-long yoga retreat, and nothing has been the same since.

Yoga has helped me cultivate love for my body, it inspires me to live more mindfully, and it reminds me to not take everything so seriously!  I love yoga because it is such a personal, endless journey. There will always be more to learn about the practice, which will ultimately help us uncover more about ourselves, too.

My intention is that my class serves as a refuge for healing, whether that be for your physical, energetic, or spiritual body. I aim to provide the space for students to rest in awareness, cultivating a deeper connection to the body, the mind, and the breath.  I hope you step off your mat feeling nurtured, balanced, and at peace.
