My yoga journey started in high school looking to stay in shape during my off-seasons for dance. While I always loved to dance, I was constantly nursing aches and pains trying to keep up with the physical demands of the rehearsal schedule. As I’ve gotten older – and hopefully wiser! – I dance much less, but yoga has remained a huge part of my life.
Yoga has transformed my brain, body, and relationship with exercise. Whenever I sign up to take class, I consider it my treat – a treat for not only my body but also my mind. My hope is that my students consider my class a treat for themselves as well!
