I began my practice as a 6th grader recovering from a knee injury to heal my body and build strength. That first class quickly grew into a lifelong love of yoga. The frequency of my practice has ebbed and flowed throughout my college experience, but as I grow older my motivations to stay consistent have shifted- what began as solely a form of exercise has evolved into an essential component of maintaining my mental wellbeing. Because of this shift, I work to make my classes equal parts healing, challenging, and fun! Outside the studio, you’ll find me running, spending time with my animals, working on an art project, or creating the playlist for my next class. Training to be a teacher with Yonder has been the best decision I have ever made for myself and I’m always grateful for the opportunity to practice with you!
